Adjustable LightRoom Menu - Photo Tip 147

Let’s Keep with Lightroom for this tip. There are many “knobs” in the form of menus, panels, drop-down options, hidden menus, etc.

Lightroom Full Menu

Full Lightroom Menu

So this tip is to reduce one of the menus to only what you are using. If you look at the top right you will see this large menu.

I found that I seldom use all of these menu options, so I removed the unnecessary ones (for me).

Short Lightroom Menu

I chose to only keep Library, Develop, and Print.

To hide or un-hide menu option you will find the menu items under the “Window” on the top menu where it starts with “File, Edit…” But much a much simpler method to modify this menu is to right click in the menu to uncheck unwanted items.

Use the same steps as above to restore any menu options you want.
