Boost Your Photography Skills with Seven Targeted Assignments

I have written about the long project 365 system of taking one photo a day for 365 days.  If you want to get my deeper opinion, search my blog posts or give it a try yourself.  Spoiler alert, I am not a fan of project 365 or even project 52.

So, in lieu of a long project, I reduced it to seven days or seven photos with targeted themes, mixed themes, or no theme (your choice).

Enough intro and on with my next "List of Seven" project.  I have decided to make a slight adjustment in my methods/instructions for the "List of Seven."  In the past, I suggested it be a seven-day project.  I am now encouraging you to go at whatever pace you want but try to keep it to thirty days or under (preferably under 10).  You can even complete it in less than seven days if you want to take more than one photo a day.

Visual List of Seven
============

  1. Black and White
  2. Color
  3. Texture
  4. Lines
  5. Patterns
  6. Shapes
  7. Perspective

While you are completing this List of Seven feel free to share a few of your photos and once you complete your "List of Seven" share the set on social media or with your friends via email for those not on social media.  But most of all enjoy the project.

I am glad you found my blog.  I am a photographer with a passion for awesome shots.  I go to great lengths to capture many of my photos.  I will re-visit a location over and over knowing there is a spectacular photo just waiting to be had if I am there at the right time.   I also enjoy finding how to do some abstract projects (check out my time-lapse post) and will be writing about them.

Send me a note via my contact page for some projects you would like to see me try and write about.  I am not afraid to try almost any project.  Doing the obscure forces me to do things that I don't do with the typical photo shoot and helps me learn even more.
